- Overvej om din LED pærer skal kunnes dæmpes. Det vil fremgå på emballagen om pæren kan.
- Vælg en LED med god farvegengivelse. dvs et Ra-indeks på mindst 85 eller 90 de steder hvor farvegengivelse er vigtig.
- Undersøg om pærens lysudstråling passer til din lampe og lysets funktion. spredningsvinkel angives som grader og bør fremgå på emballagen.
- Undersøg om pæren lyser kraftigt nok til dit formål. 470 lumen svare til en 40 watts-glødepære. 250 cd(candela) svare til en 20 watt/35* halogenspot.
